WHO IS EMMA FROST?
Emma Frost is a fan-favorite character from the X-Men comics who has the ability to turn herself into a diamond body. This makes her invincible in hardcore action. Along with this, she has immense telepathic powers and has even beat Charles Xavier a number of times.
She is also called White Queen in the comics but fans prefer ‘Emma’.
In Skrull Invasion, she beat up the Skrulls almost alone and was not even killed in doing so.
EMMA FROST IN THE MOVIES
The first-ever time we saw the White Queen on the Silver Screen was in 2009’s X-Men Origins: Wolverine. She was portrayed as the young sister of Kayla (Silverfox). But the fans criticized the portrayal for a number of reasons. Some of them were inadaptability to the comics, poor CGI, and lack of power display.
But the second time around, 20th Century Fox managed to do justice to the character. January Jones took up the role in 2011’s X-Men: First Class, a critical success and a fan-favorite.
She was apparently killed by Dr. Trask as told in Days of Future Past. After that, the series again took criticism for getting rid of a favorite character.
