Denver Nuggets forced a Game 7 after defeating Los Angeles Lakers, who at one point was leading the series 3-1. Nuggets have already appeared in a similar situation this season, against Utah Jazz in Round 1. Nuggets played a total of seven games in conference quarterfinals and semifinals, last year as well.
Denver coach Michael Malone told the reporters that they were amazing, and he loved his teams. Nuggets have defeated the number 1 offensive team for two straight games, after making a comeback from a 10+ points trail. As always, Nuggets center Nikola Jokic was phenomenal on his play as he bagged 34 points, 14 rebounds, and seven assists.
The other star, Jamal Murray, supported the Joker with 21 points, while rookie Michael Porter Jr. scored 13 points. Gary Harris also played big, scoring 16 points. For the Clippers, their main man, Kawhi Leonard, dropped 25 points while the guard scored team-high 33 points. The winner between the Clippers and Nuggets will play the first-seeded Los Angeles Lakers in Western Conference Finals on Friday.
If the Nuggets win Game 7, then they will be the first NBA team to win back-to-back playoffs series after suffering a 3-1 deficit. The Clippers coasted the 16 point half time lead in two consecutive matches against the Nuggets. Jamal Murray is questionable for Tuesday after he went down on the floor in the third quarter during a collision with Paul George.
