The Snapdragon 875 will have a massive price increment, almost double than the previous Snapdragon. The price has always increased over the years. The increment in the price of this chipsets means the increment in the value of flagship phones. One good example is OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro. The upcoming chipset will feature the 5G-enabled modules and thus increasing the overall value of the chipset.
A recently emerged post reported that the Snapdragon 875 SoC would cost around $130, which is a massive $45 increment from the previous version. The whole package of the new Snapdragon 875 could go up to $250. The current flagship phones from the OnePlus — the OnePlus 8 series — cost around $700 and $900.
