Lakers beat the Rockets 112-102 on Tuesday night, thanks to the impressive defence display of the team. The team has been displaying an amazing fourth-quarter defence game in their last two fixtures against Rockets. The 35-year-old forward, LeBron James is still influencing the court and recorded four impressive blocks in the night.
LeBron James dropped 36 points in the victory against Rockets, while Anthony Davies scored 26 points, along with 15 rebounds. With the win on Tuesday, LeBron recorded the most wins in the NBA Playoffs history for a player(162). Coach Frank Vogel mentioned that they are trying to be the best defensive team in the league.
Rockets’ coach Mike D’Antoni said that the team lacked the pace and certainly weren’t attacking. He also believed that the fatigue caused his players to fall behind Lakers in the fourth quarter. Even the momentum is with Lakers, ROckets aren’t an easy team to beat on Game 4. The Lakers need to increase their standards and play more consistently after entering the court on Game 4.
Lakers will potentially focus on defense again on Game 4, as the Rockets have strong offensive and aggressive players in the league.
