France based video game company Ubisoft has made two of its highly popular games free to download.
Starting from today, till September 8, Tom Clancy’s Division is available free of cost on Ubisoft’s online platform. Furthermore, Far Cry, too, is available at Uplay for free.
THE DIVISION
Tom Clancy’s The Division is an online game. Massive Entertainment took the helm to develop this game. The game is set in a post-pandemic future (so you can prepare for post-COVID-19 maybe). The Division is structured with elements of role-playing games, as well as cooperative and player-versus-player online multiplayer. Reviews for The Division were generally positive, with praise towards the combat, visuals, and soundtrack, though it faced criticism for its lack of content at launch, bullet-sponge enemies, story, and technical bugs. Furthermore, one week after the game’s release, Ubisoft stated that The Division was the company’s best-selling game. It was also the industry’s biggest launch for a new franchise. It generated an estimated amount of $330 million globally. The Division 2 came out on March 15, 2019.
FAR CRY 3
Far Cry 3 is a 2012 shooting game. Ubisoft Montreal os the developer Ubisoft is the publisher for this one. It is the third main installment in the Far Cry franchise. The game takes place on the fictional Rook Islands. It is a tropical island that can be explored by players. Gameplay focuses on combat and exploration. Players can use various different weapons to defeat human enemies and ruthless wildlife. The game features skill trees and experience. After a vacation goes awry, the protagonist Jason Brody must save his friends. Pirates have kidnapped them and now they need to escape from the island and its inhabitants.
