Los Angeles Clippers are looking for a win in Game 6 in the Western Conference first-round on Sunday, in Orlando. Meanwhile, their opponent, Dallas Mavericks will try anything to stop Clippers from winning the game and thus extending the series to the final game in the series.
The game will commence at 3.30 PM ET inside the NBA Bubble, in Orlando. Clippers and Mavericks also followed the protest started by Milwaukee Bucks to boycott matches. Bucks didn’t show up during their Game 5 at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex against Orlando Magic to protest against the police brutality. Three police officers horribly fired bullets at a black man named Jacob Blake last Sunday near Kenosha, Wis.
Bucks’ decision to skip the game triggered a major chain reaction and several sports events were postponed. Clippers also boycotted their match against Mavericks. Furthermore, Clippers voted to boycott the NBA Playoffs but later agreed to resume the playoffs matches.
As things stand, Clippers have an advantage lead against Mavericks in the series. Clippers defeated Mavericks 154-111, thanks to Clippers’ forward Kawhi Leonard’s 32 points. Mavericks also have a player disadvantage after their Center Kristaps Porzingis suffered injury blow. Luka Doncic, like usual, will lead the team, who has 28.8 points per game in the season. Fans expect another drama from him after he helped Mavs to beat Clippers with a buzzer-beater in overtime in Game 4.
